En février 2021, nous sortions l'EP "Persistance" de Christophe Bailleau, collection de collaborations dont l'une avec son duo PRISM sur le saturé "Paaattchheeffff". Une quinzaine de références plus tard, c'est aujourd'hui ce projet qui est à l'honneur, et associé avec Billy Hasni aux guitares électriques, percussions et autres vocalises gutturales, l'electronica stellaire et métamorphe du Belge laisse place à une inspiration nettement plus abrasive et bruitiste, tantôt psychédélique et tribale ("Trip Ritual"), ambient et insidieuse ("Top Budget") ou pulsatile et radicale ("Eat Heat Hit"), à la croisée de l'indus, du harsh noise et du metal expérimental. Les amateurs de ces musiques extrêmes autant qu'immersives sachant mettre l'agression sonore au service de l'atmosphère y retrouveront assurément ce qu'ils apprécient chez Throbbing Gristle, Wolf Eyes et plus récemment Duma ou les passionnants noiseux futuristes du label Pharmafabrik (Ontervjabbit, Cadlag...) : un univers organique et mutant d'une densité impressionnante ("Usine") et une propension au crescendo magnétique où stridences malaisantes, larsens hypnotiques, pulsations synthétiques entêtantes et riffs menaçants construisent de concert le genre de progressions presque narratives qui nous happent dans leur logique anxiogène pour nous emmener en territoire inconnu, sans répit pour les plus sombres replis de notre imagination, à l'image de "Dinosaure" et de ses 11 minutes terrassantes.

In February 2021, we released Christophe Bailleau's EP "Persistance", a collection of collaborations, including one with his own duet PRISM on the saturated "Paaattchheeffff". About 15 references later, it is this project that gets the spotlight today, and associated with Billy Hasni on electric guitars, percussions and guttural vocals, the Belgian musician trades his shapeshifing and stellar electronica for some more abrasive and noisy inspiration, either psychedelic and tribal ("Trip Ritual"), ambient and insidious ("Top Budget") or pulsating and radical ("Eat Heat Hit"), at the crossroads of industrial music, harsh noise and experimental metal. If you love this kind of exploration as extreme as it is immersive and capable of putting sound aggression at the service of atmosphere, you will certainly find in this album what you might admire in Throbbing Gristle, Wolf Eyes and more recently Duma or the fascinating futuristic noise of the Pharmafabrik label (Ontervjabbit, Cadlag ...) : an organic and mutant universe of impressive density ("Usine"), and a taste for magnetic crescendos merging toxic shrillness, hypnotic larsens, obsessive synthetic pulsations and threatening guitar riffs to build the kind of narrative progressions that draw the listeners in their anxiety-provoking logic and take them to unknown territories, without mercy for the darkest folds of their imagination, like "Dinosaure" and its crushing 11 minutes of noise epic.
